Wine for your events, one quote per event
A caterer doesn't want stock: they want the right number of bottles, in the right place, the day before service, at a price they can pass on. That is exactly what a Bordeaux wine merchant knows how to do, with no exclusivity and no annual commitment.
What we bring you
One quote per event
You send the number of guests, the moments of the day and the level you want; within 48 hours you receive named wines, prices excl. and incl. VAT and the shipping cost. Nothing to store between two jobs.
Trade prices
Sliding with volume, on an invoice that lets you recharge it with your margin or pass it on to the end client. Your choice on each quote.
Delivered to the venue
Function room, estate, garden, marquee: in mainland France, by parcel up to 120 bottles, by pallet beyond. You don't have to carry the cases yourself.
Bordeaux first
From decent table wine to classified growths and older vintages, plus champagne and a short selection from Burgundy, the Rhône and the Loire. Crémant is possible on request. If the event calls for a full range from another region, we tell you.
Quantities, worked out together
You know your guests better than we do. The quantity calculator applies the rules you already use, one bottle for three per hour of reception, one for two at the meal, and gives the number of bottles by colour, rounded up to the case. You adjust, you send, we price it.
One thing said up front: unopened cases are not taken back. So the safety margin is tight, 8% standing, 10% seated. One case too many is rarely a disaster for a caterer, who serves it at the next job; ten cases too many weigh on the client's quote. Better to order exactly and top up with a second delivery if the guest numbers climb.
For a wedding, the wedding wine page sets out moment by moment what a hundred guests drink, with the classic mistakes you have probably already seen with your clients. For a gathering after a funeral, often decided within a few days, the gathering after a funeral page is written for families: you can pass it on to them.
Corkage, explained to your clients
Many couples and companies ask whether they can bring their own wine rather than take the venue's. You can show them the corkage calculator: it gives the price per bottle above which bringing your own wine pays off, using the venue's figures. A caterer who helps a client decide honestly earns their trust, and the wine they bring can come through you.
Who you already work with
If you put on weddings with planners, the wine for wedding planners page describes the tasting for couples and the two possible ways of being paid. It works the same way for you: you decide who invoices, we deliver.
Reply within 48 working hours. No commitment, no exclusivity.
Who is invoiced, the caterer or the end client?
Whoever you name on the quote. If you recharge the wine as part of your service, the invoice is in your name, at trade prices. If the client prefers to pay for the wine separately, we invoice the client and you remain the intermediary who organised it.
Is an annual volume or exclusivity required?
Neither. Each event is a separate quote. You keep your suppliers for other regions and for last-minute emergencies.
What happens if the number of guests changes?
As long as the order hasn't shipped, it can be adjusted. After that, a second delivery is possible within the usual lead times. That is why we advise ordering exactly: topping up is easy, sending back is not, since unopened cases are not taken back.
Do you deliver on the same day?
No. Expect delivery in the week of the event, with the order placed at least six weeks ahead for peace of mind. The cost depends on the number of bottles and the destination, and is stated on the quote.
