How many bottles of wine for 100 guests?

The red and white don't change from one row to the next: the evening party is drunk in sparkling and rosé. One more hour of party is one case of sparkling and one of rosé.

Parcel or pallet for 100 people?

Is this the right calculation for a wedding of 100 people?
It's the same one. The wedding wine page uses these quantities and adds what is specific to weddings: corkage, the next-day brunch, the ordering calendar, the champagne for the toast.
What if the 100 become 150?
The 150 guests page crosses the pallet threshold, and adds serving staff and chilling organised the day before. The other way, the 50 guests page is the one for shorter parties.
The expensive mistakes
- Counting children as drinkers. Out of a hundred guests, fifteen to twenty-five don't drink.
- Planning as much red for the evening party as for the meal. The evening red ends up in the garage, and unopened cases are not taken back.
- Delivering to an address with nobody there. Nineteen cases can't be left on a doorstep. Someone present, access, a cool room.
- Ordering at D-10. Six weeks ahead for the firm order, one week ahead for delivery.
