Wine delivery for an event: lead times, costs, parcel or pallet
In mainland France, by parcel up to 120 bottles, by pallet above that, to the venue or to your home. Costs depend on the number of bottles; the scale below is indicative and is confirmed on the quote.

Two figures are known today; the bands in between are given on the quote, with the destination. Above 120 bottles, parcels give way to a pallet and the price is worked out case by case.

For a wedding of 100 people, about a hundred bottles, the cost comes to less than €0.70 per bottle. That isn't where the budget is decided: look instead at the quantity calculator, where one case too many costs more than the whole delivery.
When to order
The terms of sale provide for delivery no later than 30 days after payment is received. In practice, delivery takes a few working days for wines in stock. A reasonable calendar for an event is as follows.
Choice
Tasting or samples, deciding the level for each moment of the day.
Firm order
Quantities fixed to the case, quote signed, payment made. Six weeks leave a margin for a vintage that runs out.
Delivery
To the venue or to your home. Early enough to check the cases, late enough not to store them for a month.
Chilling
Sparkling, whites and rosés in a cold room or ice tubs the day before. A domestic fridge won't bring 60 bottles down in two hours.
Delivery to the venue
Possible, and often better: the cases don't have to pass through a third-floor flat. Three things to plan. Someone present on the delivery day, who signs and counts the cases. Access for the carrier, which for a pallet means a lorry with a tail lift and hard ground, not a gravel track at the far end of a park. And somewhere to store it until the day, at a stable temperature and out of the light: a storeroom, a cellar, a cool room, not a conservatory or a garage in high summer.

How much does it cost to deliver 100 bottles?
Under €61 for a grouped parcel of 109 to 120 bottles according to the indicative scale, the exact band for about a hundred bottles being specified on the quote with the destination. Per bottle, that stays under €0.70.
Can I have it delivered straight to the venue or the estate?
Yes, in mainland France, provided someone takes delivery and the carrier can get access. For a pallet, a tail lift and hard ground are needed. Check with the venue that it agrees to store the cases between delivery and the event. What if a case arrives damaged?
Refuse it or note your reservation on the carrier's delivery slip when you sign, with the number of bottles affected. A written reservation at delivery is what allows the transport insurance to apply; a complaint three days later, much less so.
How long can the wine wait before the event?
A few weeks without any problem if it is at a stable temperature, between 12 and 18 °C, out of the light and standing in its cases. What damages a wine in a week is a car in the sun or a garage at 30 °C, not time.
