What matters in Antibes
- The heat. In summer, a car parked in the sun near the port quickly goes above 40 °C inside. A great wine can't wait in the boot: go to the shop last, and drive straight home.
- The quays. A delivery on board is arranged with the crew: yacht name, berth, time, person taking delivery. Put it in the request; the quote says whether and when it's possible.
- On Sundays and Mondays, the Vallauris shop is closed. Sunday's aperitif is bought on Saturday.
- Old vintages travel badly in strong heat and need to rest for at least a day before being opened. The ones to drink this year are on Bordeaux vintages to drink in 2026.
